There was a famous case of a Jewish kid who was grabbed by the nuns (the equivalent of our own dear SS) because they couldn't allow a baptised Catholic to be brought up by Jews. <br /><br />How had this come to pass. The kid had been sickly ad the Catholic maid (with the best of intentions) had splashed water on his head and uttered some vague nostrums.
